Alternative Name : | C6 |
Description :Recombinant human C6 Protein with C-terminal 6×His tag
Background : This gene encodes a component of the complement cascade. The encoded protein is part of the membrane attack complex that can be incorporated into the cell membrane and cause cell lysis. Mutations in this gene are associated with complement component-6 deficiency. Transcript variants encoding the same protein have been described.
Molecular Characterization: mass of 103.2 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of C6-His is approximately 100-130 kDa due to glycosylation.
Tag :C-6×His tag
