THAP7 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 332 amino acids (1-309 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 36.8kDa. THAP7 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
THAP Domain Containing, Apoptosis Associated Protein 7 (THAP7) holds one THAP-type zinc finger. THAP7 is a chromatin-associated, histone tail-binding protein which represses transcription by recruiting HDAC3 and nuclear hormone receptor corepressors.
