Source:E.coliTARC, a CC chemokine, is predominantly produced by dendritic cells in the thymus, and signals through the CCR4 receptor. TARC is chemotactic towards T cells. Recombinant Human TARC is an 8.0 kDa protein containing 71 amino acid residues, including the four conserved cysteine residues present in CC chemokines.
Determined by its ability to chemoattract human T cells using a concentration range of 1.0-10.0 ng/ml.
