Recombinant Human Polyubiquitin-B is produced by our E.coli expression system and the target gene encoding Met153-Gly228 is expressed with a GST, 6His tag at the N-terminus. Polyubiquitin-B(UBB) is one of Ubiquitins. Ubiquitin is one of the most conserved proteins known in eukaryotic organisms. Ubiquitin is required for ATP-dependent, non-lysosomal intracellular protein degradation of abnormal proteins and normal proteins with a rapid turnover. Ubiquitin is covalently bound to proteins to be degraded, and presumably labels these proteins for degradation.

Endotoxin : Less than 0.1 ng/µg (1 IEU/µg) as determined by LAL test.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic/therapeutics procedures.

Subcellular location: Cytoplasm, Nucleus
Post transnational modification: Ubiquitin: Mono-ADP-riblosylated at the C-terminus by PARP9, a component of the PPAR9-DTX3L complex. ADP-ribosylation requires processing by E1 and E2 enzymes and prevents ubiquitin conjugation to substrates such as histones.
BioGrid: 113162. 187 interactions.
