Recombinant Human Syndapin-1 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Met1-Ile444 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. Protein Kinase C and Casein Kinase Substrate in Neurons Protein 1 (PACSIN1) belongs to the PACSIN family. PACSIN1 contains one FCH domain and one SH3 domain. PACSIN1 is highly expressed in the brain and at lower leves in the heart, pancreas, and liver. PACSIN1 may play a role in vesicle formation and transport. PACSIN1 has been shown to interact with DNM1, PACSIN3, Huntingtin, and PACSIN2. In addition, PACSIN1 is phosphorylated by casein kinase 2 (CK2) and protein kinase C (PKC).

Endotoxin : Less than 0.1 ng/µg (1 IEU/µg) as determined by LAL test.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic/therapeutics procedures.

Subcellular location: Cytoplasm, Cell projection, Cell junction, Cell projection, Membrane, Cytoplasmic vesicle membrane, Cell junction, Cytoplasm, Cell membrane
Post transnational modification: Phosphorylated by casein kinase 2 (CK2) and protein kinase C (PKC).
Tissue Specificity: Highly expressed in brain and, at much lower levels, in heart and pancreas.
BioGrid: 119018. 45 interactions.
