LD78 Beta is a CC chemokine that is closely related to MIP-1 Alpha. It signals through the CCR5 receptor and the Beta-chemokine receptor, D6. LD78 Beta has been shown to exhibit potent activity in HIV suppression assays. Recombinant Human LD78 Beta is a 7.7 kDa protein containing 70 amino acid residues, including the four conserved cysteine residues present in CC chemokines.
