Source:E.coliCXCL6, also known as GCP-2 in humans, is a connective tissue-derived CXC chemokine that can signal through the CXCR1 and CXCR2 receptors. Human GCP-2, which is cross-reactive with murine cells, selectively attracts neutrophils, and has also been shown to exert anti-angiogenic activity. Recombinant Human GCP-2 is a 7.9 kDa protein containing 72 amino acid residues.
Determined by its ability to chemoattract human neutrophils using a concentration range of 10.0-50.0 ng/ml.
