Recombinant Human 2-hydroxyacyl-CoA lyase 1 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Met1-Met578 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus. 2-hydroxyacyl-CoA lyase 1 is a 115 amino acids protein that belongs to the TPP enzyme family.It is expressed in high levels in liver, also expressed in kidney, heart and skeletal muscle.It can catalyze a carbon-carbon cleavage reaction and cleave a 2-hydroxy-3-methylacyl-CoA into formyl-CoA and a 2-methyl-branched fatty aldehyde.
