The V5 epitope tag (GKPIPNPLLGLDST) is derived from a small epitope which presents on the P and V proteins of the paramyxovirus of simian virus 5 (SV5). V5 Tag Antibody is a useful tool in detection of recombinant proteins containing the V5 epitope. V5 Tag Antibody, mAb, Mouse is produced from the hybridoma resulting from fusion of SP2/0-Ag14 myeloma and B-lymphocytes obtained from mouse immunized with V5 tag peptide conjugated to KLH.
