Located in external side of plasma membrane. Is expressed in hemolymphoid system gland; lung; male reproductive gland or organ; and pancreas. Orthologous to human VTCN1 (V-set domain containing T cell activation inhibitor 1).
Molecular Characterization: mass of 26.0 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of mB7-H4-His is approximately 35-70 kDa due to glycosylation.
