Amount : | 100 µg |
Purification : | The purity of the protein is greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE and Coomassie blue staining. |
Content : | Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4. Normally 5 % - 8% trehalose is added as protectants before lyophilization. |
Storage condition : | Store at -20°C to -80°C for 12 months in lyophilized form. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -80°C (Avoid repeated freezing and thawing). Lyophilized proteins are shipped at ambient temperature. |
Uniprot ID : | P02772 |
Alternative Name : | Alpha-fetoprotein |
Description :Recombinant mouse AFP protein with C-terminal 6×His tag
Background : Predicted to enable fatty acid binding activity and zinc ion binding activity. Acts upstream of or within SMAD protein signal transduction; ovulation from ovarian follicle; and progesterone metabolic process. Located in cytoplasm and extracellular space. Is expressed in several structures, including amniotic fluid; egg cylinder; gut; liver and biliary system; and metanephros. Human ortholog(s) of this gene implicated in hepatitis C. Orthologous to human AFP (alpha fetoprotein).
Molecular Characterization: mass of 66.0 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of mAFP-His is approximately 55-70 kDa due to glycosylation.
Tag :C-6×His Tag
