The 1B1 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with mouse CD1d, a 48 kDa type I membrane glycoprotein with a structural homology to MHC class I molecules. CD1d is expressed by mouse leukocytes, epithelial cells, thymocytes and dendritic cells and is the only molecules in the CD1 family to have been found in the mouse. The 1B1 antibody detects CD1d in association with the Beta2m molecule.
The antibody has been analyzed for quality through the flow cytometric analysis of the relevant cell type. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic/therapeutics procedures.
