The 61D3 monclonal antibody specifically binds to human CD14, a co-receptor for bacterial lipopolysaccharides (LPS). It is expressed on some dendritic cells, monocytes and neutrophils. CD14 is involved in the body's innate immune response and cytokine expression in monocytes and neutrophils.

The antibody has been analyzed for quality through the flow cytometric analysis of the relevant cell type. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
