Alternative Name : Isocitrate dehydrogenase [NAD] subunit gamma, mitochondrial, Isocitric dehydrogenase subunit gamma, NAD(+)-specific ICDH subunit gamma, IDH3G, H-IDHG.
Source : E.coli. IDH3G Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 375 amino acids (40-393) and having a molecular mass of 41.1kDa.IDH3G is fused to a 21 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Isocitrate dehydrogenase [NAD] subunit gamma (IDH3G) mitochondrial is a member of the isocitrate and isopropylmalate dehydrogenases family. Isocitrate dehydrogenases catalyze the oxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate to 2-oxoglutarate. The IDH3G is a gamma subunit of one isozyme of isocitrate dehydrogenase which belongs to a distinct subclass, which utilizes NAD(+) as the electron acceptor, and is restricted to the mitochondrial matrix.
