Description :Recombinant human MC4R Protein with C-terminal human Fc tag
Background : The protein encoded by this gene is a membrane-bound receptor and member of the melanocortin receptor family. The encoded protein interacts with adrenocorticotropic and MSH hormones and is mediated by G proteins. This is an intronless gene. Defects in this gene are a cause of autosomal dominant obesity.
Molecular Characterization: mass of 31.0 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of MC4R-hFc is approximately 35-55 kDa due to glycosylation.
Tag :C-Human Fc tag
