Interleukin 20 (IL-20) is structurally related to interleukin 10 (IL-10) and is produced by keratinocytes and monocytes. IL-20 acts through the STAT3 signaling pathway to regulate the proliferation of keratinocytes during epidermal inflammation.

Endotoxin: Less than 0.1 ng/µg (1 IEU/µg) as determined by LAL test.
Centrifuge vial before opening, Suspend the product by gently pipetting the above recommended solution down the sides of the vial. DO NOT VORTEX. Allow several minutes for complete reconstitution. For prolonged storage, dilute to working aliquots in a 0.1% BSA solution, store at -80°C and avoid repeat freeze thaws. Upon reconstitution, a small amount of visible precipitate can be expected. A 10% overfill has been added to the total material vialed to compensate for this loss.

Tissue Specificity:	Expressed in most tissues and five major cell types: epithelial cells (primarily skin, buccal mucosa, tongue, nasal mucosa, lung, ureter, breast, prostate, fallopian tube, and adrenal gland), myoepithelial cells (mainly prostate), endothelial cells (mainly in small vessels or capillaries), macrophages, and skeletal muscle. Isoform 2 was detected in the lung tissue only.
