Background : Enables adipokinetic hormone binding activity and adipokinetic hormone receptor activity. Involved in several processes, including negative regulation of NF-kappaB transcription factor activity; positive regulation of macrophage chemotaxis; and regulation of calcium-mediated signaling. Located in plasma membrane.
Molecular Characterization: mass of 30.8 kDa after removal of the signal peptide. The apparent molecular mass of CMKLR1-hFc is approximately 35-55 kDa due to glycosylation.
