Source : Escherichia Coli.
GOLGA7 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 160 amino acids (1-137 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 18kDa.GOLGA7 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
GOLGA7 is part of the ERF4 family. This protein is involved in protein transport from Golgi to cell surface. The ZDHHC9-GOLGA7 complex is a palmitoyltransferase specific for HRAS and NRAS. GOLGA7 is palmitoylated on Cys-69 and Cys-72; that is required for Golgi localization and interaction with GOLGA3.
