| Content : | GFRA1 filtered (0.4 µm) and lyophilized from 0.5mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline pH 7.5 containing 5 % (w/v) trehalose. It is recommended to add deionized water to prepare a working stock solution of approximately 0.5mg/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. GFRA1 is not sterile! Please filter the product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture. |

GFRA1 is a glycosyl-phosphatidylinositol(GPI)-linked cell surface receptor for both Glial cell line-derived growth factor (GDNF), neurturin (NTN), and mediates activation of the RET tyrosine kinase receptor. The GFRA1 protein is a potent survival factor for central and peripheral neurons, and is vital for the development of kidneys and the enteric nervous system.
