CSNK2Bis atetramer comprised of 2 catalytic kinase domains, alpha subunits and 2 identical regulatory beta subunits.CSNK2Btakes part incell cycle control, DNA repair,regulation of the circadian rhythm and other cellularprocesses. The beta subunit itself confers stability to the CK2 alpha subunitand is involved in activity and substrate specificity but does not have kinase activity.
