Specificity: This antibody has a Kd of 2 nM for morphine and related alkaloids (e.g., codeine, nalorphine, and naltrexone).
Background: Morphine is an opioid analgesic derived from the opium poppy plant that is a powerful pain-relieving medication used to treat both acute and chronic pain.
