Anti-GARP / LRRC32 Monoclonal Antibody (Clone:GARP5)
Figure 1: Anti-Hu GARP Purified (clone GARP5) works in WB application under reducing conditions. Western blotting analysis was performed on RIPA buffer extracts of thrombocytes, leukocytes, and Jurkat cells mixed with hot reducing SDS-loading buffer. Samples were resolved using 10% SDS-PAGE gel. Nitrocellulose membrane blot was probed with mouse IgG1 monoclonal antibody GARP5 (2 µg/ml), followed by IRDye 800CW Goat-anti-Mouse IgG (green). Mouse anti-GAPDH monoclonal antibody FF26A conjugated with DyLight 680 (0.1 µg/ml), was used as the loading control (red). Multiplex fluorescent Western blot detection was performed.

GARP (glycoprotein A repetitions predominant protein), also known as Garpin or LRRC32 (leucin-rich repeat containing protein 32) is an approximately 80 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein detected on the surface of megakaryocytes, platelets, and activated Treg cells. It binds to the latency-associated peptide (LAP) domain of pro-TGF beta and regulates its storage and activation. The expression of GARP on Treg cells seems to be necessary for their suppressive functions.
